Felix is full of enthusiasm and fresh ideas, believing that “standing still is akin to moving backward.”
He completed his apprenticeship as a winemaker at the organic winery Gerhard Roth and earned his degree in viticulture and oenology from Geisenheim in 2018. Additionally, he gained valuable experience at wineries in Alto Adige and New Zealand. Felix channels his own ideas and visions into his wine creations.
“To make my own wine and not just deliver grapes to the cooperative.”
– that was Peter’s goal after his apprenticeship as a winemaker. He completed his master’s degree in 1991 and switched the business from grape production to self-marketing.
Whether in the vineyard, the office, or at the sales counter, Elke is the key point of contact for any inquiries in our winery. “In our family, everything is centered around wine. Wine brings joy, is thrilling, charming, delicate, bold, enchanting, harmonious, fruity… and certainly never boring.”
“Winemaking has always been a central part of our family’s life.” Initially, our wine was made solely for our own household, until Alfred shifted to growing grapes for the local cooperative. Even at his age, you’ll still find him out in the vineyard every day.
